For the 2011 season, our fully electric vehicle was FREE and available to all on weekends in Woodstock from July 2, 2011 through October 16, 2011 to: • Provide a green vehicle that links the National Park to the Village and Town of Woodstock. • Utilize outlying parking areas to reduce the use of vehicles for short trips in the Village. • Ultimately make Woodstock an attractive partner to larger transportation networks. • Help us consider effective use of public transportation within our community.
We are continuing to experiment with stops and the route during this three-year pilot. This website will have recent route changes and questions about the service as they come up. Please check back often as we are constantly experimenting with new ways to serve the public during this trial phase of service.
During the summer and fall when the Trolley is in service, you can schedule ADA Complementary Paratransit if you cannot comfortably walk to any one of the eleven stops around Woodstock by calling the The Thompson Senior Center (802) 457-3277. Please allow at least 24 hours to schedule a connecting service.
Simply put, what is a Full Circle Trolley?
This fully-electric vehicle powered by Central Vermont Public Service’s own Cow Power and will be taking people, FREE, to and from our trails to town for easy parking and accessibility through Woodstock weekends during July, August, September and part of October. Look for signs at eleven stops around town where you can wait for the next trolley coming twice an hour at scheduled times between 10:45 AM and 5:30 PM.
